REACH Trips
CALLED TO REACH
365 days a year, SOI missionaries labor in some of the most difficult and demanding conditions in the world. Poverty grips the people that SOI serves on a daily basis. However, SOI missionaries are from the neighborhoods they serve in. They speak the language, live amongst the people, and are committed for the long-term. SOI sends multiple short-term missions team overseas each year to help encourage, assist and support our in-country staff with the on-going mission. Our goals for the trips is that the individuals and teams that serve with us are educated on what its like to serve in a foreign land, be educated on another culture, earn to share the Gospel in a foreign context, and above all to encourage SOI’s in country staff and assist with the on-going work in specific projects. We do believe that God does amazing things we step out of our comfort zone and GO and make disciples!
SOI partners with Life Community Church in Wilmington, NC. Led by Pastor Tim Blevins, they brought a wonderful missions team from their church to serve in Uganda and are committed to walking with SOI in reaching the people of northern Ugandan with the Gospel.
