At the beginning of August our Sportsbridge Program in partnership with Stop Hunger Now, sent a 40 foot container full of meals to ministry sites in Uganda. 

Thanks to SOI Partner Churches and volunteers who participated in Stop Hunger Now’s meal packaging program, thousands of high protein, nutritious meals were packaged and have now been sent in this recent shipment. 

These meals will be provided for some of the poorest children on the African continent in a time when inflation and unrest is making it harder and harder for children and families to survive!   

With the number of meals in this shipment, over 1,000 children will be provided with 2 meals a day, 6 days a week for over 4 years! 

We are thankful for this these partnerships and our faithful supporters who continue to give consistently to SOI and our Sportsbridge program. 

It is because of this that we can continue to send both life sustaining resources along with many other items.
