Hand Crafted in Kenya & Uganda

One of the goals of Sports Outreach's ministry in Africa is to help develop skills that will enable the people with whom we work to become more self-sufficient through learning a vocational trade.

Whether it's through agricultural and animal husbandry projects operated by Sports Outreach, or vocational training and life-changing employment skills, or creating items such as you will find here, our desire is to improve the lives of the people with whom we are working in Kenya and Uganda.

The profits from these items go to the people who created them. These distinctive jewelry items are designed and created by women who are suffering from the results of HIV/AIDS. Their husbands have either died from AIDS or have abandoned the family.

Because these are primarily one of a kind items, the exact piece of jewelry you receive will be a bit of a surprise.

Project 658 Store

Through partnerships, the SOI Charlotte, NC office has a unique vocational training program called The [Create] Project.

Products are handmade by refugees in America who were forced to flee from their home countries because of conflict or persecution.

The products are made from recycled woven vinyl from old billboards and banners – each bag is distinctively unique.

The [Create] Project is restoring hope through the dignity of earning a paycheck. Workers also benefit from English classes and other essential needs throughout the community.

Our goal is to empower people to live sustainable lifestyles while teaching them how Christ intends for them to live and thrive. Your purchase will have a direct impact in changing the life of a refugee in America.
