“You are a sports ministry. Why do you do so many other non-sports things?”

A key element of our sports ministry model is discipleship and mentoring. Our coaches work with kids off the field as they lead Bible studies, teach about character, help with schooling, share personal testimonies, educate about public health, and encourage them in their family life and relationships.

And there is more.

We live in a fallen world … creation groans … the suffering of those in poverty is immense. And it’s not just physical poverty; it’s emotional poverty, spiritual poverty, relational poverty. Our international work is focused in the poorest of communities. We cannot look away from the desperate need of the children and families we serve with sports ministry. Meeting physical, emotional and education needs completes the picture of holistic investment in lives that so often results in Gospel transformation.
