With guidance and encouragement from SOI El Salvador Director Humberto Alferez, Pastor Rene started a soccer academy in 2018. The program is part of his church’s wider ministry, which has connected with over 60 kids, both on the field and off the field.

Jorge Bautista
Jorge is from the Dominican Republic and has a passion to bring the Gospel to the kids in his own community. The community doesn’t have a lot of resources, and most baseball academies are expensive. There are many kids that want to play baseball, but their parents cannot afford it. Jorge, along with his wife, with the encouragement and support of Sports Outreach, plan to reach those kids by giving them free access to baseball training on the field, and teach them how to be disciples of Jesus off the field.
