Dan Narvaez was the only player in NCAA Division 1 baseball history to lead the nation in stolen base average per game for consecutive years. 63 stolen bases out of 67 attempts in only 49 games is a 94% success rate, and one of the highest in college baseball history. In his book Thou Shalt NOT Steal, Dan documents his testimony, clearly showing his passion for the Word of God and baseball. He then goes into great detail on the art of base stealing.

Now Dan is taking his expertise from inside a book, to ON THE ROAD and ON MISSION.

In his role as Domestic Ministry Director with Sports Outreach, Dan is not only mentoring SOI coaches in baseball ministry and in sharing the Gospel, but he is also hosting base stealing clinics for baseball and softball teams all over the country and world. During these clinics he is teaching youth the art and dedication it takes to successfully steal a base. These clinics have already shown themselves beneficial! Many seeing drastic results - shaving multiple seconds off of their times when running bases. But more importantly, the Word of God is opened and youth get to hear from Coach Dan about the depth of love and unique purpose God has for each and every one of them.

Testimonies:

"Danno,

Once again, thank you so very much for your time spent with our baseball program. More importantly, we so greatly appreciate the impact that you had on our players and coaching staff. Our players are still talking about and using the techniques that you used with them when talking about base stealing. They were also so very humbled by the personalized signed copy of your book, "Thou shall not steal." We are implementing further work with regards to stealing 2nd and 3rd base and your attention to detail teaching will be felt for this season and years to come.

The on the field teachings were amazing, but more importantly your impact will be felt off the field with your testimony and time away from the X's and O's of baseball. Your message hit home with so many of our players, you even got over 30 players to raise their hands with commitment to giving their life to the lord. That moment was so impactful for me as a coach of these young men. Your passion for discipleship is unwavering and you have given me a greater meaning to the opportunity that God has given me as the leader of this baseball program. Thank you so much!

Another great aspect of your visit was our call with Zach Remillard. He hit home with a lot of our guys' passion for baseball and intersecting that with their faith. The ability to use our platform of baseball to glorify Him is an opportunity for our players to understand that the pressure of the game isn't anything to worry about because of our faith in God and his son Jesus Christ. We will continue to grow a deeper faith as a team and even deeper as a person thanks to you and your time spent with our players.

Thank you again for your continued impact on our players and we can't thank you enough for your time that you have given our baseball program." Coach Tyler Latorre, Baseball Coach at Westmont College

"Dan took me under his wing and my time improved from 4.19 seconds to 3.34 seconds. The big thing is when you know, if you do everything right that no one can throw you out this gives me confidence. My junior year I stole about 15 bases. After working with Dan, a year, I stole 25 out of 25 bases my senior year, and 19 out of 19 in summer league. Something I did not know about Dan at times I thought we would only do base stealing, but more importantly he would read the gospel of John, and in our last session, I gave my heart to Jesus. It looks like I will be the starting 3B for Princeton University next year in 2023 season. I look forward to continuing our relationship as I see him not just as a base running coach, but as an influence in my life." Jake Koonen

These clinics are not just about STEALING BASES, they are about restoring hope and transforming lives.

“It is not often I meet a person north of fifty with a work ethic, humility and passion for sharing the Gospel like Dan Narvaez. In Thou Shall Not Steal, Dan instructs and shares his insights with baseball players in the art of base stealing. But more importantly, his passion for using sports to evangelize and disciple people of all ages. I highly recommend you get to know Dan and glean what you can by reading his book, contacting him or attend one of his awesome clinics.”
